D for dessert for #AtoZChallenge: easy no-egg Irish cream Baileys tiramisu recipe
A romantic coffee-flavored Italian dessert, tiramisu (提拉米苏) literally means "pick me up" or "lift me up" (帶我走). In 2012, I made a tiramisu for a Valentine's Day gift to Dear. There is always something special for gifts that we use our heart and hands in creating.
For #AtoZChallenge on 2014 April 4 Fri, I lovingly present a recipe of no-egg Irish cream Baileys tiramisu by ServicefromHeart.
This recipe requires no baking and uses no egg, so you can also call it eggless tiramisu.
♥♥♥
Since I am going to let my friends enjoy this tiramisu, preparing them in mini glass jars is convenient to carry around and aesthetically pleasant.
Harmoniously matching with the colors of coffee and dark chocolate, I use a brown ribbon with golden letters of St Regis on it. Yes, I reduce, reuse and recyle in my tiny efforts for our sustainable planet.
The #ministory behind this ribbon is that one day Dear came back with a door gift wrapped with the ribbon, from a wedding reception hosted at St Regis, a luxurious 5-star hotel in Singapore. Until today, I have never been to St Regis, but I have enjoyed St Regis Perspectives in Today newspaper.

Servings: 6-7 mini (70g) jars
Preparation time: 20 minutes*
*You can speed up to 5 minutes by using a large single container. Many times, mini things (like babies, children, origami, nanotechnology) requires more efforts and time.
Ingredients:
♥ 250g mascarpone cheese (马斯卡彭芝士)
♥ 50ml Irish cream Baileys
♥ 2 tbsp honey (蜜糖)
♥ 1 tbsp dark chocolate powder (黑巧克力粉)
♥ 100ml 3-in-1 Ipoh white coffee powder (怡保白咖啡粉), use only half sachet
♥ 7 McVitie's Digestive Biscuits (饼干)
♥ 5 love letter rolls (optional)
Directions:
1. Boil water for coffee.
2. Meanwhile, Mix mascarpone, Baileys, honey. I use wooden spoon.
3. Dip biscuits into coffee for 2-3 seconds. Please try not to soak them too long to prevent turning soggy.
4. Place biscuits in container(s).
5. Layer with mascarpone mixture.
6. Thinly layer with dark chocolate powder.
7. Repeat steps 3-6 with biscuits.
Tips:
♥ Mascarpone cheese is slightly sweet and smooth. If possible, please use only mascarpone cheese for optimum creamy taste and texture.
♥ Besides using fine sugar or honey, we can also use granulated sugar by blending it with Irish cream Baileys.
♥ For variations, consider sponge cakes, chewy marshmallows, green tea as ingredients.
♥ Places where I bought Baileys : worldwide airports (and their duty-free prices).
